The summit of the Bokor Mountain is frequently stormy and much colder than the land below. Even though it is not rainy season, tourists should bring a raincoat or at least long clothing. Just beyond the waterfall is a massive, restaurant-like airplane hangar with indoor and outdoor dining, as well as midday Khmer food and a buffet. The distance to the sea is around 1 kilometer. A good half-hour walk-through. Right at the Wat’s entrance is a Khmer restaurant serving meats, noodles, veggies, and rice. When you’re worried about the expense of a dinner at one of the two nearby hotels, this will be your best choice for $1.50 meals. There is also motorbike fuel and drinking water available.
